Chastity Shares New Video For “Strife” Announces North American Tour

Today, Whitby, Canada-native Chastity, real name Brandon Williams, shares the video for “Strife” from his latest album Home Made Satan. The visual is the fourth from the album following “Sun Poisoning,” “Flames,” and “Anxiety” and continues to position Williams as a young voice for revolutionary thought, action, and song.

Speaking on the video, Williams says: “Holden, who plays the devil in the video, is a great and imaginative young illustrator. He has an Instagram (@holdendraws) where he sells all of his drawings and puts money made toward causes he’s passionate about. He’s ten years old, the kid is wicked. All the drawings in this video are his.”

Along with the video, Chastity is also announcing a North American run. The band will tour across the country with British duo crywank starting March 28th in New York, with stops in Atlanta, Houston, and Los Angeles, before concluding the run April 25th in Cleveland. The tour arrives after their dates with DIIV and their headlining North American tour last year and will follow their UK and European tour with aforementioned tour mates DIIV beginning next month.

The new album from Chastity, Home Made Satan, is out via Captured Tracks and is the second installment of a building trilogy, bringing a pop sensibility to the band’s catalog following their acclaimed 2018 debut Death Lust. Recorded over the course of a couple weeks with his full live band in a small studio in London, Ontario, Brandon Williams crafted an emotional and political concept record meant to capture voices that often go unrepresented. Williams wrote and compiled the album as if he was scoring a film, aiming to match the sounds on the album to the vision in his mind.
