Austin Ward’s “See You Again” Chronicles New Love In Quarantine

LA-via-Mississippi’s Austin Ward today released a new video for “See You Again,” a potent and romantic track off his debut EP Side A, which chronicles new love in quarantine. “I met my girlfriend, who is also a songwriter, in a Facetime writing session during quarantine,” says Ward of the song’s origins. “She was living with her pregnant sister at the time, so we were strictly separated for over a month. As a way to make our nightly calls more interesting, we started suggesting tasks for each other to do during the day that we would then share/talk about in the evening. She challenged me to write a song using this very strange single string instrument I had in my studio. This song was born in a single day from that challenge.”
