Rina Sawayama Releases Deluxe Version Of Her Debut Album: Shares Extended Reality Video For “Lucid”

On the heels of announcing the album last week, critically-acclaimed pop-futurist Rina Sawayama returns to share SAWAYAMA: Deluxe Edition. The album is an extension of Rina’s most personal body of work yet, featuring fan favorites “XS” ft. Bree Runway, “Comme Des Garons (Like The Boys)” Pabllo Vittar Remix and a cover of The 1975’s “Love It If We Made It” alongside previously unreleased tracks; “We Out Here” and “Bees & Honey.” The deluxe album features production from the likes of Clarence Clarity (Exec producer along with Rina) and co-writes from Nicole Morier (Britney Spears) and Kyle Shearer (Carly Rae Jepsen).

Alongside the album, Rina is also sharing an extended reality video for the BloodPop-produced “LUCID,” which PAPER called, “the vibrant, queer bop we’ve needed to get us through these last few weeks of 2020.” The visual is the perfect counter-part to the kaleidoscope track, with the singer navigating an ever-changing virtual dreamscape.

SAWAYAMA: Deluxe Edition also coincides with the announcement of rescheduled UK tour dates to Fall 2021. All original tickets will still be valid and new shows have been added to Leeds and Dublin with Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow upgraded to bigger venues.
