New York City metal powerhouse Loss Becomes, featuring esteemed Chef Brian Tsao on guitar, has revealed yet another crushing track, “Memory,” from their upcoming debut.
“‘Memory’ is a song that checks off all the boxes for what I want to play in a metal band,” Tsao says. “Thick Chugs, Dimebag/Zakk Wylde squeals, a touch of melody and easy to play. I absolutely love to play this song and can’t wait to get in front of an audience!”
Loss Becomes first showcased their modern take on classic metalcore with hardcore tendencies in December with “Focus,” followed last month by “Promises.”
The group’s music is unforgivingly aggressive and executed with intensity and vigor. Vocalist Anthony Copozzi’s ferocious enthusiasm can be heard on every lyric, giving the band what can only be described as a full aural assault.
“I’ve been really fed up with people not meaning what they say,” explains Copozzi. “You can tell by who is real and who isn’t right away. This one is based on the rage that I have for the fakes out there. I see you. We all see you.”
