Chattanooga senior Chloe Arnold was named the Southern Conference women’s soccer Player of the Week for all games played February 22-28.
Arnold scored the game winner for the Mocs on a PK in the first half against North Alabama in Chattanooga’s season-opener Friday at the UTC Sports Complex.
Teammate Emily Szymanski was taken down on the left side of the box and Arnold lined up for the PK in the 12th minute.
The goal was the 22nd of her career and seventh game winner.
Arnold was the 2017 SoCon Freshman of the Year and named to the 2018 SoCon All-Conference First Team.
The Mocs open Southern Conference action Friday evening at home against Samford. The game is set to kick off at 6 p.m. Fans are not currently allowed at matches this season. Friday’s game will be carried live on ESPN+ and live stats will be available at GoMocs.com.
