LLusion Drops New Single “Yoga” Featuring salem ilese

Today, Orange, CA artist and producer LLusion reveals his new single “Yoga” featuring singer and songwriter salem ilese.

Dreamy harp twinkles next to salem’s glistening vocals as she laments, “Yoga doesn’t work, I wish it was the cure, but it just makes me sore, might be broken but I’m hoping it’s that yoga doesn’t work.” LLusion’s artful production with lo-fi beat-craft and delicate instrumentation echoes alongside salem’s fluttering delivery.

Of the hypnotic song, LLusion says, “I made the beat for ‘Yoga’ the summer of 2019 intended for a lofi re-imagination of Big Klit’s ‘Liar,’ an aggressive song trending on TikTok at the time. Giving the song a much more peaceful tone, I felt the most appropriate way to title the track was ‘when someone cuts you off on your way to yoga.’ Due to the popularity of the track, I posted the instrumental titled ‘Yoga.’ Now, fast forward over a year later, I receive a re-birthed version with vocals that salem provided, and this is now easily a song I’m most proud of and a personal favorite off my debut project.”

salem says, “I came up with the concept for ‘Yoga’ during the first month of quarantine, after attempting the inevitable ‘morning yoga and meditation’ phase. Working with LLusion provided me more zen than any downward dog stretch could’ve.”
