Odeal Enlists Marzi for New Song and Video

After sharing a preview on Instagram Live, Odeal is back to share “Na You” featuring long-time collaborator Marzi.

The Enzo & SAIONTHEBEAT produced anthem gets an ode to the pairs prior collaborations including their Supah Melody Bros EP, with director Teeezy C (Digga D, Central Cee) at the helm of the visuals, capturing the energy between the pair and accompanying the high grade musicality and partnership between Odeal and Marzi with an energetic, high powered video.

Staying true to his Nigerian roots, “Na You” compositions Duncan Mighty’s “Obianuju” the iconic Nigerian musician whose pidgin reference ‘everything na you’ within the song explains how he wants to do everything for a woman. Harnessing the same energy, Odeal and Marzi who have built a strong musical foundation together, go back to back in the visual highlighting their craziness over a girl.

Odeal the “UK’s first Alte Renaissance man” (NME) teamed up with Marzi an Alte/Afro Fusion artist to create “Na You” organically. Connecting musically while both on the rise, Marzi & Odeal’s parallels can be heard in their respective projects Her Fantasy EP and Odeal’s OVMBR: Roses. Birthing “Na You” from the idea to sample a classic Nigerian song; when the pair put this idea out via social media, they received an influx of responses and finally agreed on the song they would be sampling from audience suggestions. Speaking on the track, they said “We were super excited over that idea to include something classic. When we agreed in excitement to work on it, that then became ‘Na You.’”
