Introducing… mazie

mazie mixes modern malaise with vintage psychedelia: nostalgia laced with an impending sense of doom fueled by a world in ever-deepening crisis. Pairing fatalistic lyrics with shiny alt-pop arrangements that are as infectious as they are unpredictable has seen the quick ascension of the 21-year old Baltimore native. Her early tracks–including “no friends,” “i think i wanna be alone” and “sippy cup”–have resonated deeply with her peers and have received 8.5 million streams to-date. Today, she launched a new collaboration with Birds Aren’t Real, sharing her custom-designed “Birds Are Make Believe” t-shirt, which is available now.

The singer has also been honing her live show and has confirmed a slot at this year’s The Governors Ball in New York City, performing on September 26. She is also excited to announce her first national tour supporting COIN this fall, kicking off November 29 in Orlando, FL and concluding in her hometown of Baltimore on December 19.
