The Chattanooga Mocs and valued partner Food City came together in this time of crisis with a creative solution for new season ticket buyers. With gas prices soaring, Mocs season ticket prices dropped as part of pandemic recovery. Food City offered assistance for the former from its Gas ‘N Go stations.
New season ticket purchases get a $10 Food City Gas ‘N Go gas card. That’s one card per ticket bought with a maximum of four. The offer is for today, May 14, through next Friday, May 21, as the reopened pipeline continues to replenish supply throughout the region.
“We are grateful to Food City making this available to fans, alums and our community who are purchasing season tickets during the gas replenishment,” shared Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Mark Wharton. “It’s a time to come together. We have fantastic partners, donors and campus that always step up with solutions in these moments.”
There are seven Food City Gas ‘N Go stores in Hamilton County. The greater Chattanooga area has four additional locations with two in Cleveland, one in Ringgold, Ga., and another in Rossville. There are also two in the Athens, Tenn., along with one in Calhoun, Ga., and another in Lafayette, Ga.
