Eyedress Shares New Two-Song Single ft. Dent May
Today, Eyedress reemerges to share the first offering of new music from a forthcoming project due this Summer. His new two-song single out today consists of “Something About You,” a groovy ode to life on the road that features LA-based artist Dent May and comes alongside a Bobby Astro-directed video that finds both artists on their own perfect romantic getaways. The second song of the double single, “Spit On Your Grave,” lives on the opposing end of the sonic spectrum, and showcases Eyedress’ dynamism with a frenetic track that wishes good riddance to an old lover at breakneck pace.
Coinciding with the release, Eyedress is announcing two live shows in New York at Elsewhere on August 25th, and a second show in LA at The Roxy on August 28th.
The new songs build on the excitement surrounding his 2020 album Let’s Skip to the Wedding, which has continued to elevate to new heights since its release. The album has broken into Billboard’s Heatseeker’s Albums Chart at #17 behind the viral success of hit singles “Jealous”, which has been featured in over 5 million videos on TikTok, and “Romantic Lover” which has exploded on TikTok and across streaming platforms recently, entering at #22 on Rolling Stone’s Trending 25 chart and peaking at #26 on Spotify’s Viral 50 chart in the US.
