Tatiana Hazel Releases ‘And The World Will Turn’ EP

Today, Tatiana Hazel releases her new EP And The World Will Turn. The project is handcrafted by Hazel herself, the artist writing, producing, recording, mixing and mastering the entire project except for “Work Hard,” which she collaborated with her close friend Drew via a discord session. The result is a kaleidoscopic pop soundscape that feels as intimate as it does grande. The project follows the DIY popstar’s 2020 EP Duality and includes her previously-released singles, “It’s All Right,” “Tired of Being Myself” and the newly released “I DON’T GIVE A FUCK!,” a moody pop track built on vintage synth sounds and Tatiana’s powerful hooks that comes alongside a self-directed video with an analogue aesthetic that perfectly matches the track.

And The World Will Turn has been in the works since February when Hazel relocated to Hollywood with her manager after an initial living mishap left her stranded. “There was so much in my life that was out of my control (as we have all experienced through the pandemic) that this project was the one thing I wanted full control over.” Through the rubble she created a whole new world, self-directing and editing all her videos, as well as shooting all the artwork with the help of her manager. “I wanted to show that you don’t need a big budget or team to bring your visions to life. There may be a lot of uncertainty in the world, but take control of what you can and leave the rest up to the universe. All I know is that the world will keep on turning.”
