YUNGMORPHEUS & Eyedress Announce Collaborative Album

Today, LA-based rapper YUNGMORPHEUS & Filipino artist and producer Eyedress announce their long-teased collaborative project. Due October 1st via Lex Records, Affable With Pointed Teeth, contains the recently released double single release Four Week Cure which consists of “Four Week Cure” and “Candyman,” as well as the newly-released track “Georgette’s Tea Room” featuring critically-acclaimed rapper Pink Siifu. The new track, which comes alongside a 70’s inspired, Matt Cowen-directed video is a jazz-inflected, noir-esque, mood piece. Produced by Eyedress, the song features commanding bars from YUNGMORPHEUS and Pink Siifu, two artists noted for their genre-agnostic approach to hip hop.

YUNGMORPHEUS is an LA-based rapper and record producer hailing from Miami. He has released music on Leaving Records and Rap Vacation and collaborated with Pink Siifu, Fly Anakin, Koncept Jack$on and Ohbliv. YUNGMORPHEUS’ most recent release with NYC-based producer ewonee titled Thumbing Thru Foliage, was praised by SPIN as “relaxed, modern boom-bap that pull[s] from jazz, soul, and psych rock” and earned further critical acclaim from Pitchfork, who called it “blissful.”
