Move It On Over As George Thorogood Reopens Walker Theatre

Music is alive and well finally in Chattanooga as well. After going into hibernation since the beginning of the great pandemic of 2020, the Tivoli, Memorial and Walker Theatres are back in business and just in time.

To celebrate the grand reopening, what better way to do this is with one bourbon, one scotch and one beer? And who better to share these with but the author of said song, George Thorogood.

Thorogood, the larger than life rocker and guitar virtuoso will bring to the Walker Theatre Tuesday, August 10 some heavily blues influenced rock and roll. Coming to town with The Destroyers, Thorogood knows the tricks and trades of the music business like the back of his hand,

With songs like “Who Do You Love,” “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” and “Move It On Over” Thorogood is guaranteed to turn an ordinary concert into a lively n0 holds-barred party.

The party with your master of ceremonies, George Thorogood gets started Tuesday at 7:30pm and a there are some good seats still available. Go here for ticket information.
