Today, the New York City-based trio Wet releases their new album Letter Blue, out now via AWAL. The album marks the third full-length installment from the group and the rejoining of founding guitarist Marty Sulkow. Letter Blue continues Wet’s sophisti-pop sound across 10 tracks written by vocalist Kelly Zutrau, produced by member Joe Valle with co-writing and co-production credits from Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bear, Buddy Ross, Frank Ocean’s go-to keyboardist, and Dev Hynes on “Bound” featuring Blood Orange.
With the album the group also shares the video for “Larabar (by Gia Coppola),” styled by Turner and showing a cinematic and intimate live performance of the track directed by Gia Coppola and created in partnership with WePresent by WeTransfer. The new visual closely follows that of “Bound” with Blood Orange shared earlier this week.
Additionally, Wet will set out for fall tour dates in select markets to coincide with Letter Blue’s release. The upcoming nine-show run includes a performance at Huichica Music Festival in Sonoma, a Brooklyn date with Coco & Clair Clair, and a Chicago date with Liam Benzi. Tickets are on sale now. Wet has also recently partnered with staple menswear brand Noah for a capsule collection with exclusive clothing items including a pocket tee, crewneck in two colors and a long sleeve tee.
