Sega Bodega Releases New Album

London-based multi-hyphenate creative Salvador Navarrete, a.k.a Sega Bodega, releases his sophomore album Romeo today. Cascading across 10-tracks, the latest project showcases Sega’s otherworldly production style that has made him such a pioneer within alternative and electronica spaces. Romeo includes features from lauded peers Arca and Charlotte Gainsbourg and the previously released singles “I Need Nothing From You,” “Angel On My Shoulder,” and “Only Seeing God When I Come.”

Romeo tells the story of a joyous relationship between Bodega and a mythical girlfriend made entirely of light, “Luci”. The project channels the whirlwind of emotions in early love through masterful break-beat and experimental electronic production, interwoven with ethereal synths and harmonizing choral vocals. The new project uncovers a new level of intimacy and emotional depth in his songwriting.

The top of 2022 will see Sega Bodega head out on a European tour to celebrate the release of Romeo. The eleven-date run will begin in Dublin and includes stops in Amsterdam, Paris and London before wrapping up in Moscow in early February.
