New York City-based trio Wet shares a new video for “Only Water,” a track from their recently released album Letter Blue out now via AWAL. The Aine Vonnegut and Zach Sky-directed video for “Only Water” sees vocalist Kelly Zutrau dressed in white linen trek barefoot through the woods before swimming and cleansing in a river with other women. Coupled with the music video is the live version of “Only Water” performed and recorded in a church. The new visuals closely follow those of “Only One” directed by Andrew Theodore Balasia, “Larabar,” styled by Turner and directed by Gia Coppola, and “Bound” with Blood Orange.
The album marks the third full-length installment from the group and the rejoining of founding guitarist Marty Sulkow. Letter Blue continues Wet’s sophisti-pop sound across 10 tracks written by vocalist Kelly Zutrau, produced by member Joe Valle with co-writing and co-production credits from Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bear, Buddy Ross, Frank Ocean’s go-to keyboardist, and Dev Hynes on “Bound” featuring Blood Orange.
Additionally, Wet just wrapped their North American fall tour in celebration of Letter Blue’s release with two sold-out shows in New York City where Blood Orange joined them on stage at Baby’s All Right. The band has one last show in London this month with L’Rain. Tickets are on sale now.
Upcoming Tour Dates:
