A Will Away Share New Single “Speechless”

A Will Away share their new single “Speechless” from their forthcoming LP Stew, due out February 18th on Rude Records. The song sees the Connecticut based alt-rock band showing their range with twinges of twang, while Matt Carlson’s vocals vacillate between vulnerable moments where his voice floats above melancholic fingerpicking and plaintively anthemic multi-track harmonies bolstered by distortion. “Sometimes we treat the people we love the worst because we feel like we can,” says the band. “’Speechless’ discusses the sensation of knowing you’ve just said something you can never take back.” “Speechless” follows the previously released “Karma”, which arrived via a cinematic music video directed by Brent Campanelli.
