Lou Canon Announces Remix LP

Today, Lou Canon announced a remix album entitled Reimagine The Body (due January 26 via Paper Bag Records). The album will contain remixes of songs from her last album, Audomatic Body (released July 10, 2020 via Paper Bag Records), contributed by artists such as Holy Fuck (Graham Walsh), Lido Pimienta, July Talk, Witch Prophet, Zoon, and Badge Epoch (U.S. Girls).

Alongside the announcement, today also hosts the release of the remix LP’s first single, a remix by Badge Epoch entitled “Invisible Desire” (Époque Selector Remix), alongside a music video directed by John Smith / Strange Process.

“I’m a big fan of all the projects that Maximilian Turnbull dips his brain and adept hands into. From Slim Twig to Darlene Shrugg to backing his partner in U.S. Girls to Badge Époque Ensemble. He always has my full attention. Listening to Époque can get me lost on the way to my neighbourhood cornershop. He carries my song ‘Invisible Desire’ into a dark, intimate space that feels much like a home away from home, while somehow remaining completely mysterious,” says Canon speaking of “Invisible Desire”.
