Following the release of his critically acclaimed and RIAA-certified platinum sophomore album Timelezz in September, Jhay Cortez has been on a run of stellar performances in support of the project. Now, after massive success with the first leg of his Timelezz tour and the album being named in the Rolling Stone & NY Times Best Albums of 2021 lists, he announces his 2022 US tour dates kicking off in April, which will see stops in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago and more.
Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale Friday, December 10th at 1:00 PM EST.
In addition to the US tour announcement, Jhay is ready to embark on his European tour where he will visit multiple cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Zurich, and London through December. During the past weeks Jhay has been around the globe, including a record-breaking series of three sold-out nights at the iconic Coliseo de Puerto Rico in October and a promo tour around Spain and Mexico where he closed the Coca Cola Flow Fest. He delivered an electrifying performance that got the audience of over 100k people dancing to the beat of Latin trap and reggaeton at the Mexico City festival, which has become one of the most important events for urban music in Latin America. During the Spain promo, Jhay visited Barcelona and Madrid attending some of the most important tv shows in the country like ‘La Resistencia’. It was also recently announced that Jhay will take the stage for headlining performances at Lollapalooza Argentina and Asuncionico in Paraguay next year.
