Cremation Lily Joins The Flenser, Premieres Cover Of Korn’s “Falling Away From Me”

In the ongoing rollout of the Send the Pain Below nu-metal compilation, The Flenser will close out 2021 with its fifth premiere from Cremation Lily, the impressive new addition to the label’s artist roster.

Based in London England, Cremation Lily is the electronic project of Zen Zsigo. Like many artists on The Flenser, Cremation Lily is difficult to classify; the project initially started in 2009 as a sample-based heavy ambient project, but has evolved to incorporate genres such industrial, shoegaze, tape loops, noise, and power electronics. Though rooted in electronics, Cremation Lily shares similarities with Planning For Burial, Have a Nice Life, and black metal.

Cremation Lily have contributed an ethereal cover of Korn’s 1999 Issues single “Falling Away From Me” for Send the Pain Below. The track appears alongside landmark nu-metal classics from artists like Sepultura (covered by Chat Pile), Kittie (covered by Vile Creature), Slipknot (covered by Drowse) and more.

Cremation Lily’s full-length Flenser debut will be released in 2022.
