The Chattanooga Mocs men’s golf team completed the 2022 Linger Longer Invitational with its low round of the three days with 299 Tuesday. That gave the group a total of 905 which was good for 13th on Great Waters Course.
Paul Conroy had the Mocs low card with 1-under 71. Braedon Wear added 74, while Parker Highsmith and Connor Nolan closed the day’s ledger with 76 and 78, respectively. Matt Smith’s 82 was the drop tally.
Wear led the 54-hole totals with 220. Conroy came in at 233 as Highsmith shot 233. Smith was two behind him with 235, while Nolan turned in 239.
Georgia (836) out-dueled Vanderbilt (840) for the team title with Florida (850) coming in a distant third. Clemson’s was the wire-to-wire winner with 16-under 200.
The Mocs return to the tee April 2-3 at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole event is played at Forest Hills Country Club.
