Braden Lam Releases “don’t let go”

Braden Lam’s single, “don’t let go”, is about holding onto a memory of someone you love, even when they are gone. Co-written with Halifax musician Keeper E., the song feels like late summer nights with friends and wishing you could just slow down and soak in those moments forever.

In the music video, Braden uses an old 1979 red Volvo car to represent the “holding onto” of the piece or memory of someone you love. For him, it was that car but for listeners, it could also be a song, a place, maybe a sweater that reminds you of that person and how they defined you, made you feel. We all do this – freeze a memory of them in our minds where they live unchanged and unmarred by time.
