claire rousay Announces Vinyl Reissue for ‘a heavenly touch’

Los Angeles based composer and improviser claire rousay today announced that her 2020 album a heavenly touch will be reissued on vinyl out on November 11 via her American Dreams Records imprint Mended Dreams.

Originally issued on cassette in April 2020 by Already Dead Tapes, this marks its first appearance on vinyl, mastered by Andrew Weathers (Lucy Liyou, Hayden Pedigo, More Eaze). Coming on the heels of last year’s breakout album a softer focus (American Dreams) and 2022’s everything perfect is already here (Shelter Press), a heavenly touch blends piano, percussion and field recordings into a hushed, transgressive mix that foreshadowed rousay’s future releases and serves as a North Star in her acclaimed discography. It’s crucial to understanding her development as an artist.
